Lastly, before I took a trip to France, I took out this book and reviewed the potential courses. I have had the opportunity to play some great courses. This is a great gift for any avid golfer. It was a great starting point to put the itinerary together and we played some beautiful courses. Before I go to a well known course, I go to this book and review the holes I am going to play. The pictures are fantastic and the history is great.
Every golf lover should have this in their collection I got this book as a gift for my dad. It has beautiful pictures.
The photos are amazing. If you are looking for a gorgeous book for your coffee table or a perfect gift for the golfer in your life than you should consider this book. I bought a copy of this and then created a new list of all the places I wanted to go play golf.

I'm not sure what else could have been done, but perhaps it would have been better to feature fewer holes and done more with each one.The fourth section was my favorite, because it had lots of "bests" lists. The U.S. I suspect that the editors relied on whatever photograph worked best in this layout, rather than the photograph that best represented the hole. I certainly wouldn't have put it on the jacket cover. In this section, you see the view from the tee and from the green, plus enjoy a drawing of the hole's topography and layout. Now that is a very scenic hole (and is the signature of Pebble Beach). I was very happy to see them beautifully laid out and described.
